National Reporting of NYS Marches for Peace

Cynthia Banas from Vernon, NY, who has been a support person for the Utica Feeder March,  called in to report that her local radio station WRVO made several announcements about the Marches for Peace during the past couple of days. She also reported that Monday night, close to midnight, she heard a national radio broadcast from NPR,  mentioning the March to Ft. Drum and including  an interview of one of the Rochester marchers.

Reports from the Rochester Feeder March indicate continuing positive energy, good conversations along the route with individuals and families, and a bounty of food brought to the marchers from their Rochester support team. Walker spirits continue to be very positive.

I have managed to catch a bad head cold as of Monday. So my plans to join the Rochester group today, Wednesday, have changed. I have been thinking of all of you every day, focusing on your feet taking one step at a time, putting one foot in front of the other. You are amazing! I hope to see you in Watertown on Saturday.
