Rochester Feeder March Friday, May 9
Our Walk today was wonderful ! Our basic group of eleven of us were joined by others along the way. We walked with a parent of a young man who suffers from PTSD. He apparently has had very little contact with others. His dad walked with us and attended our evening gathering. He told us he was happy for what we do.
Another inspiring incident: a woman received one of our flyers and she and her mother attended our evening session. They had not heard about Military Families Speak Out and we glad to hear about the group. We are surprised (?) that people have heard so very little about groups like Military Families Speak Out.
We received good coverage in the Rochester media and into Sodus, NY. At Sopus Mike Totten gave a powerful presentation. We were at a Presbyterian Church for the evening.
We had a disturbing encounter with a very angry man who had heard about us: “Wait ’til you get to Watertown…” He tried to intimidate us. That didn’t work.

Hi, everybody!
I’m thinking about you all the time! I plan to join you on Wednesday. It was great to be with you for part of the march on Saturday as you approached Wolcott. Wasn’t it great to march through downtown Wolcott! I’m so glad Brian got us chanting properly with gusto.
Take care. Be safe!
Love, Carol Manuel
