May 8th: It was a moving and inspiring event this morning at the Storefront Antiwar Center on Monroe Ave. in downtown Rochester to send off the marchers from the west branch of the march route. After a press conference and individual comments from marchers and supporters, the group began the march, walking down Monroe Ave. The group walked to Twelve Corners where some boarded a van. Others continued walking down Winton Ave. to the Unitarian Church before continuing on the march. I wish all the core group marchers and support personnel all the best.
