Frank - Your contribution was huge. Don't know how we could've done it without you. Not only the tremendous amount of work you did, resources you gave and/or got, also just who you are - a veteran for peace, well-grounded and practical, and just plain GOOD. Thanks a million.

The march's greatest accomplishments include: the largest such event here since Kent State; the NY TIMES coverage; Veterans For Peace national president Elliott Adams' attendance; the good overall local media coverage; the VA's
Watertown Vet Center joining us; the many part-
icipants & much fun despite the weather. We must do this again sometime soon! Peace.

I caught up with the NYS March outside of Adams Center on the way to Watertown on Fri. Tobey (dog) and I walked another 2 miles and then drove to Watertown. I dressed in my Raging Granny outfit and spoke to teens and women on the street about the march and how we Grans support peace and social justice. I welcomed the walkers as they approached the Different Drummer Cafe. I was such a small part of the true American Spirit, but the Vets, support team and organizers are the courageous. The real voices of Americans across NY have been shared. The real MISSION ACCOMPLISHED sign has unfolded. We must never cease to take care of our Vets as beautiful treasures.

I have managed to catch a bad head cold as of Monday. So my plans to join the Rochester group today, Wednesday, have changed. I have been thinking of all of you every day, focusing on your feet taking one step at a time, putting one foot in front of the other. You are amazing! I hope to see you in Watertown on Saturday.

Keep going guys! You are all inspiration to me and my family. I wish I could have done the whole march with you to support peace and my brother in Afghanistan. We will meet up again in Fort Drum. Til then you are all in my heart and thoughts!
